Aggradon Lancers are among the most aggressive cavalry known to the Mortal Realms, for their fearsome scaled steeds only become swifter and more ravenous as battle-frenzy overtakes their senses. A charge of Aggradon Lancers can collapse entire battlelines in a storm of predatory violence, riders and mounts alike lashing out with savage force and overwhelming ferocity.
Rough Riders are potent cavalry troops fielded by the Astra Militarum – the most famous of which are recruited from the steppes of Attila. Their combat skill and sheer mobility makes these horsemasters a powerful force, whether spearheading an attack or outflanking the foe. Arcadian Leontus is the Lord Commander Solar of the Astra Militarum, wielding vast armies against apocalyptic invasions, sector-wide insurgencies, and even distant campaigns beyond the Segmentum Solar. A master tactician and peerless scholar of military history, he is guided in his strategic decisions by an entourage of seers, advisors, and priests. The Hydra Flak Tank is equipped to blow aerial foes out of the sky. Armed with twin-lined Hydra autocannons and a predictive logic-spirit, few airborne foes could survive the howling onslaught of the Hydra’s firepower.
The abhumans known as Bullgryns are a formidable sight to behold. Clad in custom-made carapace armour made from the discarded tracks of a Leman Russ, they carry crude assault weaponry that capitalises on their stature and resilience.
Skink Starseers sit at the apex of the skink priesthood, festooned with astromantic tools that aid them in deciphering the portents of the heavens. Starseers are the most puissant Seraphon wizards after the Slann Starmasters themselves, with celestial blessings that allow them to gaze into the future and influence the skein of fate to suit their masters’ unknowable ends.
Scar-Veterans are champions among the Seraphon, marked for command by battle-tested skill and sheer ferocity. Many Scar-Veterans choose to fight from atop a savage, blood-frenzied aggradon, the better to traverse the battlefield and carve through enemy ranks.
