Loaded with advanced equipment for scanning and navigating their dangerous surroundings, these doughty explorers use bursts of intense firepower to eliminate anyone obstructing their search.

Beastmen are an abhuman subspecies, condemned across the Imperium as unclean mutants. Embittered by their persecution, many Beastmen turn to the Ruinous Powers, congregating on the outskirts of civilisation in savage herds dominated by Fellgor Ravagers. The Adeptus Arbites enforce the Imperium's laws without exception or mercy. Exaction Squads are formed of only the most experienced Arbitrators, called into service to hunt down dangerous transgressors for interrogation and punishment, no matter where they hide. They do not hesitate to crush any who stand in their way, ruthlessly bludgeoning or cutting them down in blazes of firepower, never halting until their target is in custody.

Imperial Navy Breachers are the elite fighting troops of the Imperium's many naval assets, from orbital stations to mighty battleships – aggressive blunt instruments instructed extensively in close-quarter fighting techniques. Well-equipped and experienced in hazardous boarding actions, these squads are clad in fully-enclosed void armour, with mag-boots and rebreathers for zero gravity operatioons, and given access to specialised equipment designed for cracking enemy bulkheads.

Kroot Farstalkers are experienced explorers and savvy mercenaries, roaming the galaxy in search of exotic prey and plunder. Farstalker Kinbands act as scouts for wandering Kroot Warsphere ships, seeking out fresh employers and profitable warzones under the command of a skilled Kill-broker – equal parts wily negotiator and keen tactician. Armed with sturdy hunting weapons and strange alien weaponry – taken as loot and payment alike – these stealthy gene-hunters stalk the battlefield, springing deadly ambushes to bring in a worthy bounty.

Amongst the storied regiments of Cadia, the Kasrkin are lauded as the elite of the elite. These special operatives are trusted with more potent weaponry, such as high-powered hot-shot lasguns, and equipped with thicker carapace armour than their peers. The Kasrkin are peerless shots and battle-tested killers – disciplined and professional, they are equal or superior to any unaugmented warrior of the Imperium.

Once soldiers of the Astra Militarum, these brutal killers have rebelled against the Imperium, heeding the promises of power offered by the Chaos Gods. The deadliest veterans of the Traitor Guard are known as the Blooded, and put their training and equipment to terrible use, fighting against those who were once their allies. Often pressed into service in the armies of the Chaos Space Marines, the Blooded are all too eager to claim dark glory on far-flung killzones or warp-marked battlefields.

The Voidscarred are hardened veterans of a life of piracy. These Corsairs have travelled the stars for centuries, and they have seen the worst and the best the galaxy has to offer. Many have developed unique skills and fighting styles over the years, carrying specialist wargear into battle.

Sisters Novitiate are young recruits to the Adepta Sororitas. Trained by the Drill Abbots of the Schola Progenium, these impetuous warriors are assigned to an Order Militant to gain combat experience and prove their mettle in the crucible of war.

Imperial Guard regiments are often called upon to fight gruelling wars of attrition lasting years or even decades. As time passes, each company will shrink in size as casualties take their inevitable toll.

T'au Empire Pathfinder Teams wreak havoc behind enemy lines. Their firepower is formidable, especially when sniping with potent rail rifles, and their drones can optimise the team’s pulse fire or drive the enemy back with gravitic waves. In larger engagements, their deadliest ability is painting priority targets with massed markerlights, preparing them for annihilation by heavier T’au units.
