New races in the galaxy are as redoubtable, courageous or determined as the Kin who make up the Leagues of Votann. Nor are many as ruthless when it comes to the risk-and-reward calculus of war. Vashtorr is the Soul Forge King, a daemonic demigod of unrestrained invention and abominable artifice. When the Arkifane takes physical form, it is as a horror of pallid flesh stretched over infernal mechanisms, soaring to battle amidst a cloud of lightning and smog. Vashtorr deals destruction with every whirring step, unleashing techno gheist curses upon his foes even as he fashions enhancements for his indentured daemon engines from the raw stuff of realspace.
Chaos Cultists are the mortal devotees of the Dark Gods, ordinary men and women fallen to promises of temporal power who take to battle in huge numbers. Bearing a motley collection of improvised, stolen and makeshift weapons, they can overwhelm even determined enemies with sheer weight of numbers.
As the most accomplished hero of the Greater Thurian League, Ûthar the Destined is a Kâhl marked for greatness. His clone-birth was an event shrouded in wonder and Votannic prophecy, foretelling an uncertain fate that he has spent his whole life striving and sacrificing to prepare for. Few can assess the foe as swiftly or mercilessly as Ûthar and – once he has his enemies’ measure – he soon cuts them to pieces with the glowing Blade of the Ancestors.

Cthonian Beserks are among the most heavily augmented and courageous of the Kin. Brandishing powerful mining tools that double as weapons of war and unleashing autonomous explosives that tunnel through solid rock, the Beserks storm enemy strongpoints and break them open like an asteroid filled with seams of precious ore.
Designed to survive the worst that hostile worlds and alien predators can throw at it, the Sagitaur is a rugged ATV ideally suited for scouting operations and swift, armoured offensives. Sagitaurs mount a remarkable amount of firepower for vehicles of their size, and can even knock out enemy battle tanks – all while maintaining transport capacity for small expeditionary squads.
