The battles of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy are rife with swift Reactions, mighty Warlords, and forbidden Psychic Powers. This handy deck of reference cards makes it easy to keep track of new rules and mechanics, so you can focus on your strategy. These cards will ensure you can take full advantage of the new Reaction system – they work as both a reminder to use them, and a rules reference for you and your opponent.
This brand new set allows you to build a large variety of signs to confuse your enemy, warn your friends of mines, add communication lines and defended positions – giving you a great choice of how you battlefield will look!
The development of fast-moving reliable tanks led to many ideas of how to slow or destroy them. Large shaped blocks of concrete, strengthened with a steel core, often called Dragon’s Teeth were a good way to block a vehicle’s progress.
It is the Tidecasters who conjure the phantasmal sea that allows aelf and aquatic beast to move and breathe as if they were in their own natural environment.
Praetors are the mightiest warriors and battle-leaders of the Space Marine Legions, second only to the god-like Primarchs in martial skill and generalship. Amongst their ranks can be found chapter masters and lord commanders, captains and khans, warsmiths and jarls, as the traditions of their Legions dictate. Each is a vastly experienced warrior and warlord who has writ for themselves a legend in blood, and carries into battle the finest wargear and weapons known to humanity, leading hosts that have conquered worlds unnumbered.

Prideful and impetuous, Geigor Fell-Hand is a Thegn of the Space Wolves with a long record of valorous deeds. Yet despite his skill and fury as a warrior, Geigor's record as a commander is marred by a number of battlefield reversals – most notably the loss of his entire war pack while fighting alongside the Thousand Sons, after his allies retreated in the face of an Ork onslaught. Geigor harboured a bitter grudge against the XV Legion for this perceived betrayal – and leapt at the chance to punish them in the Censure of Prospero.
Ahzek Ahriman has the unique distinction of being both the first and last Chief Librarian of the Thousand Sons, and is the most gifted mystic among their already-formidable psyker corps. A respected commander even before his Legion's reunion with its missing Primarch, Ahriman's keen intelligence and talent in warpcraft soon made him Magnus' foremost apprentice, but his greatest strength is his indefatigable will. Ultimately, this determination would see him play a pivotal role in the Burning of Prospero – and walk strange and terrible paths long after the close of the Horus Heresy.
Solar Auxilia Tactical Command Sections are specialists in battlefield command and control. Led by a Captain or similar sub-commander, these expert sections facilitate the flow of orders, direct the tercios, and co-ordinate artillery and orbital operations. This vital role is mirrored by the junior Line Command Sections who lead frontline troops, while the most powerful and celebrated officers of the Solar Auxilia, known broadly as Legate Marshals, instead go to war with personal guards equipped from their private armouries.
As ways across natural obstacles such as rivers, ravines and railway lines, bridges are often targeted as significant objectives either to take or to destroy. This single-arched stone bridge is easy to build and provides you with a great-looking addition to your terrain collection for many periods of history!
