The industrial world of Bheta-Decima is collapsing, its surface ravaged by the burning debris and tainted inhabitants of the space hulk Gallowdark. In the ensuing chaos, a Magos Biologis sends an urgent distress call – and is answered by a Scout Squad of the Raven Guard, bound by a centuries-old debt to extract him and his research from a crumbling ocean-rig complex. However, a Blades of Khaine kill team has been dispatched to foil their escape – and the very fate of the Aeldari could depend on it.
The world of Bheta-Decima slides towards utter ruination. From the lightless void comes a Nemesis Claw of the Night Lords Traitor Legion, twisted warriors motivated by cruelty and selfish desire. Yet as these ancient predators hunt for technological treasures on the ocean-rigs of Bheta-Decima, they are hunted in turn by the Mandrakes of Aelindrach – and it may be that even these sadistic monsters have met their gruesome match.
The air sings with glorious life magic as the children of Alarielle surge into battle. Embittered noble spirits command the fury of the forest, hissing Branchwyches leading from the front as verdant wyldwoods burst forth from the heaving ground. Mighty wargroves advance in defence of life itself, Tree-Revenants striking without warning as relentless Kurnoth Hunters and ancient Treelords crush enemies with inexorable, arboreal strength.
Given life by spirits held within the Oak of Ages Past, the Warsong Revenants sprang forth as Alarielle's Rite of Life rippled across Ghyran and added their Spirit Song to her chorus.
Merciless, fast and graceful, Tree-Revenants have a number of duties in a sylvaneth Household. Patrol, defence, conquering and crushing; huge bands of Tree-Revenants, with their sombre outlook and delicate limbs make the bulk of a Household force.
One of the few deities worshipped by the sylvaneth alongside Alarielle, Kurnoth represents nature’s wildness and hunger. The Kurnoth Hunters are living embodiments of his wrath.
Arch-Revenants soar high over the battlefield, borne upon the wings of a zephyrspite. Swooping down to strike where the foe is most vulnerable, their regal presence inspires nearby Sylvaneth, filling them with courage and warlike aggression.
Belthanos leads the eternal hunt that keeps his master Kurnoth’s spirit in bloom. Cloaked in leaves and riding atop a Carnelian Greatspite made of pure life magic, he chases down those who would harm Ghyran so that his howling followers might rip them apart.

The Spiterider Lancers are Alarielle's elite cavalry, mounted upon agile Dragonspites whose bodies thrum with the energies of Life. Taming one of these ancient insectoid predators is a quest in itself – their forest spirit riders deftly swoop and whirl above the battlefield before suddenly diving into a charge, striking the enemy lines with shocking force. The enemies of the Everqueen are left with nowhere to hide when the Spiterider Lancers are unleashed from the vales.
