The Ballistus Dreadnought is a walking gun emplacement. Within a shielded sarcophagus at this combat walker's core lies the mortal remains of a fallen Chapter hero. This eternal warrior pilots their hulking war engine through a web of neural links, targeting enemy armour or elite infantry with banks of devastating heavy weapons.
Barbgaunts are little more than living weapons, their bodies and biological cannons slaved to the will of a pulsating ganglio-parasite that piggybacks them into battle. Once there, they unleash volleys of chitinous barbs that detonate with the fury of violent muscle-spasms, transfixing nearby victims with a hail of jagged projectiles.
Biovores are living artillery pieces, swollen with the clutch of explosive Spore Mines that they nurture within their bodies. Upon anchoring itself to the ground with chitinous spurs, a Biovore undergoes violent spasms that expel its volatile offspring in high arcs as living ammunition. From there, the gas-bloated Spore Mines detonate in a shower of bone shards and acid rain, or else drift languidly down onto the battlefield, primed to explode whenever prey draws near.
Superbly equpped and trained, the German soldier in the early years of World War II was a formidable opponent.

To stem the aggression from Germany, Italy and Japan, Britain and her Commonwealth put huge numbers of men into uniform in WWII. Her small but professional army was swallowed up defending a worldwide Empire and soon her forces were shattered and in full retreat, culminating in crushing reverses at Dunkirk and in Singapore.
With trademark red beret and armed with Sten and Bren Guns the British Airborne were determined and tenacious, as only the British Tommy can be.
The Brutalis Dreadnought is a line breaker and a terror weapon – a bipedal combat walker, armed for close combat and piloted by a fallen hero of its Chapter. This hulking war machine lays down a hail of covering fire as it storms towards the enemy lines, but the greatest threat lies in its massive arms. Mounted with crushing fists or ceramite-sheathed talons, these can crush an armoured warrior like spoiled fruit or punch through a bunker wall like parchment.
