The Idoneth Deepkin are a mysterious race of aelves who dwell within the oceans of the Mortal Realms, emerging from their watery seclusion to plunder the souls of land-dwellers – a grim harvest upon which their very survival depends.
Boss Snikrot is no mere Ork cutthroat – he is a murderous legend whose obsession with guerilla warfare has seen him hone the kunnin' taktiks of the Blood Axe clan into an almost supernatural mastery of infiltration. Snikrot is an unseen terror, leading his Red Skull Kommandos deep behind enemy lines – by the time his terrified foes realise he is upon them, the Boss is already opening their throats with his rip-toothed blades.
Brôkhyrs are the engineers and artisans of the Leagues, and Iron-masters are the most accomplished of their kind. In battle, they take on the duty of maintaining damaged Kin war engines, often aided by Ironkin and COG repair crews. These veteran Brôkhyrs also bring their most powerful creations to war, taking satisfaction in unleashing them upon the foe with their own hands.
Brôkhyr are the artisans of the Kin, makers of technological marvels – when one of these seasoned engineers hooks into a powerful exo-frame, they become Thunderkyn. Adapted from void-rigs used to maintain the spacecraft of the Leagues, the armoured exo-skeletons worn by the Thunderkyn exchange repair tools for massive heavy weapons, which the Brôkhyr use to pick off enemy armour and lay down covering fire for their Oathband.
Orks are brutal and violent aliens who love nothing more than to fight. They are tough, with hulking physiques, thick skulls, and toothy maws. When gathered in an excitable crush of noise and death, Orks become infused with a strange energy that drives them to even greater acts of unrestrained ferocity. They gleefully pile into the fight, bellowing their deafening war cry – ‘Waaagh!’.
There are many horrific alien threats to be found among the stars, and the Orks are some of the very greatest among them.
The Kin are a clone race of resilient and pragmatic warriors, who together form the ancient Leagues of Votann. Given wisdom and purpose by their ancient Ancestor Cores, armed and armoured by the pounding pistons of the forge, they scour the galaxy for the resources to expand their works and overcome any foe. Hernkyn Pioneers roam the battlefield on magna-rail bikes, scouting a path for doughty Hearthkyn Warriors and augmented Cthonian Beserks to secure their objectives – guided by battle-tested Kâhls such as the legendary Ûthar The Destined.
The Orks love fighting above all else. These brutal and violent aliens roam the galaxy in vast hordes, gleefully piling into battle with a deafening war cry of 'Waaagh!'. Morgrim's Butchas are a ferocious warband of Beast Snaggas, rugged Orks eager to prove their toughness by bringing down the biggest, baddest prey the galaxy has to offer. Whether they ride atop bad-tempered Squighogs or rush forward in bellowing mobs of Boyz, no foe is safe from becoming a Beast Snagga's next trophy.
Cthonian Beserks are among the most heavily augmented and courageous of the Kin. Brandishing powerful mining tools that double as weapons of war and unleashing autonomous explosives that tunnel through solid rock, the Beserks storm enemy strongpoints and break them open like an asteroid filled with seams of precious ore.
