The Craventhrone Guard serve Kurdoss Valentian and any who share his aims. Bitter and spiteful even compared to other Nighthaunt, these spectral sharpshooters relish lining up enemy champions in their sights, sending them to an early grave without fanfare or mercy. Though they enforced Valentian's will in life, the Craventhrone Guard are now are cursed to torment him, shooting down his prey before he can truly claim the glory of the kill.

The Cryptguard are ghouls of uncommon tenacity and worth, elevated to an elite station by performing some great feat of endurance in the sight of their vampiric liege. Charged with protecting their unholy masters, these faithful mordants wield weapons gifted from the royal armoury – rusted, gore-caked blades, soaked in decades of maddening energies and infectious filth.

Marrowscroll Heralds are senior delegates of their vampiric masters, sent to deliver entreaties – in the form of bloodied offerings and infectious madness – to the leaders of other nations and enlist their aid in the name of a "noble" cause. To lend legitimacy and ceremony, they often march at the head of a coterie of loyal warriors – or rather, a pack of slavering ghouls.

Nagash, Supreme Lord of the Undead is the father of necromancy. Resurrected by dark ritual, the immortal Lord of Death is an awe-inspiring centerpiece miniature.

Necromancers are widely regarded as twisted and corrupt individuals who are obsessed with death and the avoidance of it at all costs. They are used (for they are rarely their own master) by Vampires to animate the broken corpses of their servants and return them to battle.

Armed and armoured with the kingdom’s finest equipment, the Grave Guard are the elite warriors of tomb and barrow. They carry cursed blades woven through with the magic of darkness and despair.

In ancient times, mighty warlords fought across the lands. Upon their death, these brutal warriors were buried deep beneath the ground, their tombs protected from thieves and looters by shamanistic spells.

Sekhar, Fang of Nulahmia, is amongst the most lethally skilled of all Neferata's agents. A master hypnotist, she is capable of enthralling even the strongest-willed – just as she has done with the serpent Ouboroth, the eternally ravenous husk of a fallen death god. Sekhar goes to war surrounded by her loyal pets – packs of Dire Wolves stalk and hunt vulnerable prey, whilst Fell Bats encircle and harass the foe, cutting off all hope for escape.

Archregents are Ghoul Kings who have ruled for hundreds upon hundreds of years, growing terrifyingly powerful. They are mighty vampiric warrior-kings and are accustomed to instant obedience from all those around them.

Haunting the night as vague silhouettes framed against a moonless sky, Crypt Flayers search tirelessly for enemies of their glorious court. Once spotted, their prey is swept upwards, gleaming fangs sunk deeply into their necks, leaving nothing behind but a drop of spilled blood.

Scuttling, repugnant creatures whose insanity pushes them over the brink of madness into the belief that they are glorious, stout soldiers of a magnificent empire, Crypt Ghouls seek out fresh, raw meat – usually by killing anything in their path.

Grand Justice Gormayne is the highest magistrate in all of Ushoran's ghoul kingdoms. He ensures that the Carrion King’s laws and edicts are followed – no matter how insane they may be – and those who transgress are punished with grisly fates. A cunning orator, Gormayne spurs his ghoulish ‘juries’ into a frothing rage, condemning foes to be bloodily torn apart.
