These specialists provide vital support as honour guards and aides – Company Champions defend their Chapter's honour with martial excellence, Ancients guard its inspirational banners, and Company Veterans lay down hails of fire from relic bolt weapons.
Strike Squads often form the vanguard of a Grey Knights strike force. Equipped with lighter armour than the main Terminator Squads, these veterans strike swiftly and surely, and are able to slip through gaps in the enemy line.

Sternguard Veterans possess an unshakeable calm and are renowned amongst their brothers for their exemplary marksmanship in the fiercest battles. Proficient in all of the Chapter’s ranged weaponry, they can always be found where their pinpoint volleys will best shatter the foe.
Infused with the post-human might of the Primaris miracle, these Crusader Squads storm into battle with bolt rifles blazing and Astartes chainswords howling.
Outrider Squads rove in advance of the main Space Marine lines, guarding flanks of larger formations or hunting down enemy infiltrators. When battle is joined, they conduct lightning-fast hit-and-run attacks on defended positions, and run down those who would try to escape the vengeance of their Chapter.
Assault Intercessors are amongst the most widespread close-support units in a Chapter's arsenal. Firing their heavy bolt pistols as they close upon the foe, they charge into the fray, where they make short work of their enemies with brutal swings of their chainswords.
