Mark III Space Marines
Clad in ancient suits of power armour, impressively powerful and daunting to behold, Mark III Space Marines are a living reminder of the dark days of the Horus Heresy. Their ‘Iron’ armour is a variation on the previous generation’s ‘Crusade’ pattern, with extra armour and reinforcements allowing them to absorb an unprecedented amount of enemy firepower. When encased in this armour, a Space Marine becomes an unstoppable juggernaut.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the parts necessary to assemble 10 Space Marines in Mark III ‘Iron’ power armour, ready to add to any Space Marine or Chaos Space Marine collection. They come with a host of armament options:
- 10 Phobos-pattern bolters,
- 11 chainswords (one left-handed, allowing a Sergeant to take 2 chainswords),
- 1 heavy bolter,
- 1 power sword,
- 1 power fist,
- 1 Phobos-pattern bolt pistol,
- 1 plasma pistol,
- 1 lightning claw,
- 1 melta gun,
- 1 plasma gun,
- 1 Legion Vexilla;
as well as 12 helmeted heads and 2 bare heads, with an included transverse helmet crest. This kit can be used as a standard Tactical Squad in games of Warhammer 40,000, and is supplied with 10 Citadel 32mm Round bases.
Though some Chapters use Repulsor Executioners as armoured escorts for their dedicated troop-carrying tanks, many favour them as transports for Hellblasters and other specialist Primaris squads. In this capacity, the tanks thrum across the battlefield with guns blazing. Whether armed with macro plasma incinerators or heavy laser destroyers, the Executioners unleash fusillade after punishing fusillade, their primary armaments combining with a wealth of secondary weapons to blast the enemy into ruin.
From the frozen world of Fenris, the Space Wolves sail out across the Sea of Stars. Noble savages who disregard the teachings of the Codex Astartes in favour of the traditions laid down by their Primarch, Leman Russ. Valuing honour, courage and skill in battle above all other concepts, the Space Wolf armies are full of lone heroes, skyborne longships and tales of absolute bravery.
No living Iron Hand can recall a time when Feirros’ sardonic tones did not grace the Iron Council. Nor does any remember another wielding the axe Harrowhand during their Rite of Severance – the lopping of the left hand so that an augmetic fist may take its place is the moment in which a recruit truly becomes an Iron Hand.
The Predator is the main battle tank of the Adeptus Astartes, boasting formidable firepower and reinforced armour. Capable of being fitted with a number of weapon loadouts, this versatile war engine performs admirably whether spearheading armoured assaults, hunting enemy armour or escorting Space Marine infantry assets or transports through hostile territory.
Operating deep within hostile territory, Scout Squads reconnoitre the enemy’s movements, set ambushes, sabotage supply lines and destroy communications centres in daring commando raids. The task of the Scouts is to strike hard and vanish before the enemy has the chance to retaliate.
