Space Wolves Venerable Dreadnought
A towering construct of man and machine, the Space Wolves Venerable Dreadnought is a walking colossus of adamantium and ceramite. Within the talisman-covered sarcophagus lies the remains of an honoured hero of the Chaper, broken in body but not in mind. These warriors have taken to the field of battle in the name of Russ for thousands of years, their wisdom as deep as the ocean and their intuition as sharp as a kraken’s teeth. They are the Allfather’s vengeance made manifest.
This multi-part plastic kit makes one Space Wolves Venerable Dreadnought armed with a Fenrisian great axe and blizzard shield. It comes with a selection of additional weaponry, including a helfrost cannon and a multi-melta.
This kit can also be assembled as Bjorn the Fell-Handed or Murderfang.
Each company in a Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes falls under the command of a Captain. It is often said that a Space Marine is worth at least ten other soldiers; under the leadership of a Captain, this swells even further, for they coordinate their warriors with deadly precision and inspire their followers to fight with a dedication and spirit that cannot be instilled by training or discipline alone
From their unassailable polar stronghold, the Fang, on the frozen death world of Fenris, the Space Wolves cast off into the Sea of Stars seeking out Mankind’s most vicious enemies to defeat in glorious battle. Each Space Wolf is a warrior of legend whose heroic deeds are recorded in epic sagas. They are Space Marines, the deadly creations of the Emperor and the genetic heirs of the Primarch Leman Russ. As the Imperium shudders under the weight of invasion, the Space Wolves are needed more than ever to drive back the endless hordes of piratical xenos, foul warp-spawn and loathsome heretics.
Operating deep within hostile territory, Scout Squads reconnoitre the enemy’s movements, set ambushes, sabotage supply lines and destroy communications centres in daring commando raids. The task of the Scouts is to strike hard and vanish before the enemy has the chance to retaliate.
Lieutenants act as the right hands of their Captains by providing tactical flexibility and helping to direct their battle-brothers in war. They are often entrusted with direct battlefield command of a demi-company or strike force; by handling the squad-level combat logistics of force coordination and acting as exemplary leaders, they free up their Captains to focus on the wider strategic picture of the entire war zone.
