The Witch-king is the greatest of the beings known as the Nazgûl and is the Dark Lord's most deadly lieutenant. Robed in all-black, the Witch-king has long since forgotten the man he used to be before he was gifted one of the Rings of Power.
The Witch-king is the greatest of the beings known as the Nazgûl and is the Dark Lord's most deadly lieutenant. Robed in all-black, the Witch-king has long since forgotten the man he used to be before he was gifted one of the Rings of Power. His very presence upon the battlefield fills his enemies with a sense of despair, one that makes even the boldest of hearts tremble in terror. Among all the evils in Middle-earth, none, save Sauron himself, are more feared than the Witch-king of Angmar – the one they say no living Man can kill.
The Witch-king of Angmar is a multipart plastic kit supplied as 2 models, 1 on foot and 1 mounted atop a rearing steed. Both models feature options for a hooded head or one wearing the Crown of Morgul. The model on foot can be assembled with or without the dreaded Morgul Blade with which he stabbed Frodo at Weathertop, and he can be equipped with the Witch-king's enormous flail in addition to his ancient longsword.
This kit comes as 22 components and is supplied with 1x Citadel 25mm Round Uncut Base and 1x Citadel 40mm Round Hex Hole Base.
These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

Once the leader of the Council of the Wise, and the eponymous head of the White Council, Saruman the White allowed himself to be corrupted by the persuasive powers of the Dark Lord as he gazed jealously into the Palantír of Orthanc.
Easterlings are amongst the most fanatical followers of the Dark Lord and the best equipped of all the warriors at his command. Unlike the rabble of Orcs that spew forth from the Black Gate, the armies of the East are well-trained and disciplined warriors that will fight fiercely for Sauron, who they view as a vengeful deity.
Since the coming of Sauron to Dol Guldur, the surrounding Greenwood had become a place of fear and darkness. Corrupted by the influence of the Necromancer, it had become known by the new name of Mirkwood.
Those warriors who excel in riding a horse will join the Knights of Minas Tirith. Tall and stern, these knights are truly the pride of Gondor's armies. It is often the knights who lead the charge against Gondor's enemies, leaving the broken remnants of enemy formations in their wake.
Rohan has seen much war and turmoil in its relatively brief history, and many watchtowers and small forts have been erected across the Riddermark to warn and protect its people from attack.
Start your mission to reclaim the One Ring for the Dark Lord with the Mordor Battlehost, led by the powerful Witch-king of Angmar, who’s supported by hordes of Orcs, and the fast and deadly Warg Riders.
Thorin Oakenshield is a Dwarf of noble birth, the son of kings and heir to the treasures of Erebor. If he is to lead his kinsmen safely to The Lonely Mountain and reclaim the incalculable wealth that lies there, he will need every ounce of his considerable cunning and skill to triumph.
The armies of Harad often employ Mûmakil, massive war-beasts trained by the Mahud, to trample their enemies under colossal hooves. A Mumak is nigh unstoppable once it begins its charge, tossing aside enemies like broken dolls.
Wargs are gigantic, evil wolves - massive and dangerous creatures with a cunning and carnivorous intelligence. Warg Riders scout far ahead of the main armies of Orcs and other evil creatures, spying out the land and picking off stragglers. In battle wargs swarm towards the foe in great packs, tearing the enemy down with bestial fury.
Before the dread armies of Mordor can lay siege to Minas Tirith, they must first take and hold the port city of Osgiliath, allowing them to move massive amounts of supplies and legions of warriors. While the steward of Gondor’s throne remains in relative comfort, he sends his second son, Faramir, and many of Gondor's most trusted warriors to defend it against all odds. Will they hold the line, or will the inexorable forces of Evil overwhelm them?
The Elves are among the most skilled warriors in all of Middle-earth, their prowess on the battlefield far exceeding that of Men and Dwarves, and Elven archery is unrivalled in all the known lands. Although their armies are greatly diminished when compared to the vast Elven hosts of ages past, their might remains enough to face any foe upon the battlefield.
The 160-page hardback book includes all the information you need to take control of all the Heroes and armies on the tabletop:
Rohan has seen much war and turmoil in its relatively brief history, but more recently, many of its settlements have been coming under attack by roving war parties of Uruk-hai and vengeful Dunlendings.
Gondor was the most prominent kingdom of Men in Middle-earth. This battle-hardened realm was bordered by Mordor to the east, and stood as a bulwark against the shadow for thousands of years. While Minas Tirith was Gondor's capital in the Third Age, Osgiliath stood as its original capital, although the city soon fell into ruin. As the War of the Ring raged throughout Gondor itself, many townships and outposts would follow in its wake.
Éowyn is a valiant shield maiden of Rohan and niece to King Théoden. Unwilling to be left behind while the menfolk rode to war, she disguised herself as a Rider of Rohan, calling herself Dernhelm. Along with her plucky Hobbit friend, Meriadoc Brandybuck, she travelled with Théoden’s army in secret and fought with incredible valour at the Battle of Pelennor Fields.
