Beasts of Nurgle are slug-like monstrosities whose enormous bodies are weighed down with slime-slick muscle and blubber.

The rotting bowels of the Great Unclean Ones swell with pus and contagion, and within each such swelling there grows a tiny and malevolent Daemon called a Nurgling.

The Beasts of Chaos are twisted amalgamations of man and beast, filled with a burning desire to see the edifices of civilisation torn down and despoiled. Born from the primordial power of Chaos itself, these creatures gather in immense herds, stirring themselves to a frothing rage beneath looming, rune-scarred totems before loping forth in search of prey.

Elite Tzaangors, possessing strange feathers and elaborate horns, the Tzaangor Enlightened are truly blessed with the favour of Tzeentch. They wield ornate spears that set them above their lesser kin, some even riding upon Discs of Tzeentch.

While the jokes and songs of Plaguebearers infected by the Chortling Murrain find little purchase amidst the glum Plaguebearers, Nurgle’s other daemons find the antics of the Sloppity Bilepipers hilarious.

The Harbingers of Decay trot into battle atop vile steeds more dead than alive. These morbid prophets draw the gaze of Nurgle himself, and where they ride, the Plague God’s sinister will is soon made manifest. Rarely do they travel alone, often guarded by a small but zealous band of zealous mortal followers of Nurgle.

In the merciless society of the Beasts of Chaos, only the mightiest rise to power. These are the Beastlords – hulking killers who command through intimidation and brutality, and delight in sinking their man-ripper axes into the skulls of their foes. The largest and most feared of their kind, Beastlords rule over their herds with an iron hoof, leading raids to plunder and destroy civilisation wherever it encroaches on their wild territories.

The Blade of the First Prince was one of Archaon’s loyal Varanguard – a champion of the Eighth Circle known as Atarus – until he renounced the Everchosen and swore fealty to the Dark Master. Destroyed and reborn by Be'lakor's sorcery, he became Eternus – the chosen agent of the First Prince. The lord of traitors now rides at the head of Be'lakor's legions, crushing rivals in battle and commanding a vast network of spies and agents. Even death cannot halt his machinations, for each time Eternus is slain, he is reborn in a flash of black lightning – a cruel parody of Sigmar's Stormcast Eternals.

Be'lakor, the Dark Master, is the first of the Daemon Princes and a consummate champion of Chaos.

Known as one of Khorne’s greatest champions, Skarbrand’s own lust for blood ultimately proved to be his downfall. He slew innumerable mortals in the name of the Blood God, and was spoken of only in hushed whispers by those remaining.

Warlords of incredible power and menace in their own right, the Varanguard have grown into creatures of immense cruelty over many lifetimes of merciless slaughter and conquest.
