Spiritseers are those upon the Witch Path who are called to commune with the dead – a chilling concept, even amongst the Asuryani. Although their main task is to shepherd wraithbone constructs to battle, a Spiritseer can also use their psychic abilities to aid the greater Asuryani warhost. By their eldritch powers are friendly troops enshrouded in mist, or foes illuminated or struck down with mystic bolts of energy.
Crafted from psychoactive wraithbone and animated by the ghostly sentience of an aeldari soul housed within a glimmering spirit stone, each ghost warrior is a statuesque construct brought to deadly life. Bands of Wraithguard advance upon the foe, their d-cannons ripping holes through reality that dismember their victims or blast them out of realspace altogether. Long-limbed Wraithlords march alongside them, enemy fire pattering from their diamond-hard hides as their mighty weapons reap a savage tally of the foe. At the ghost warriors' head strides a Spiritseer, a mysterious and powerful Aeldari psyker whose powers guide their comrades like a beacon in the darkness.
Eldrad Ulthran was once chief amongst the Farseers of Ulthwé. Eldrad has lived for over ten thousand years, and has successfully guided his people along the twisting paths of fate since the Fall, and throughout the rise of the Imperium. Time and time again, Eldrad has averted disaster for not only his former craftworld, but the entire Aeldari race, committing acts of heroism hidden within severed strands of fate, regularly offering sage wisdom and tactical aid to those who fight against the overwhelming forces of Chaos that beset the galaxy.
